We have long been fans of Negativland and Over the Edge, the more or less weekly radio show from KPFA in Berkeley. And as my very own brother has had a long-running and oblong radio show himself, the Darkling Eclectica, appearing every Sunday afternoon from four to six p.m. (though it began in the three to six a.m. slot and was mostly to be found Saturday morning from six to nine a.m.) on KUCI, 88.9FM in Irvine, California, and which I as a youth would to make appearances upon (in the forms of members of Don Hoe and His Band of Favorites or the Month of Sundays Players or other assorted nonsense), it has come to pass that when we began our wild career and would make the journey South to the Homeland we were often burdened down with some of the strange and horrible lps that we find it necessary to "collect." Along the lines of Over the Edge (though perhaps not quite as well-formed or acoustically savvy), we pick a theme and expound upon it in a semi-coherent collagen modality.
Betsy displays some of her vinyl wares (note Richard Harris Slides album). | Betsy searches for Tom's recently installed skullular headphone jack while an unidentified "Special Guest Star" poses for the camera. |

The famous and oft-misquoted Dr. I. Hindmost preparing his remote broadcast for the Civil War Part Two Show. There were, of course, technical as well as mechanical, philosophical, spiritual, inter-costal, distil et al, difficulties with the field transmission resulting in His non-appearance. |
Chief Sub-archivist Special Order, First Class in charge of Computational Musics and Rythmic Detournments "Mickey D" arrives via Videophone™ from his undisclosable location. |
Getting all the Oddio Audio "crap" together for the Show. Looks like fun, huh?
